The private gig at La Sucriere in Lyon was organised by M Music Tour and the tickets were distributed through competitions and give aways. The setlist included 9 songs and the gig turned out to be like a fun small party. The crowd was enthusiastic and started to jump as soon as Mika appeared on stage and he came with good mood and energy. The gig was promotional but there was nothing forced or overly commercial in the vibe. He smiled and chatted and did a great, energetic performance and as a highlight walked in the middle of the crowd, asked people around him to sit down (so those behind them could see) and did a lovely Jane Birkin making the audience sing along. Such a pleasant surprise just before the last gig of the Apocalypse Calypso Tour.
